Dare Ojo believes that he and his Kwara United teammates can get three points against Akwa United, but only if they put in a ‘perfect’ performance.
The Harmony Boys hosts the Promise Keepers on Sunday with the Tunde Abdulrahman gaffered side somewhat out of sorts after some poor performances in recent times.
Despite the below average efforts, the box-to-box midfielder has assured that his team will bounce back on Sunday.
“Akwa United is a good team, but in our last match against Rangers in Enugu we showed people the quality that abounds in our team. We’ve shown we’re capable of winning and will do that in front of our fans this weekend,” mused Ojo to Garbersports.com this week.
“To bag three points, we’ll have to make the most of our strengths with the help of our cheering fans.
“We needs to play the perfect match in order to win, which is certainly possible as we’re determined to give it our all.
“Particular dangers in their team? What concerns us the most is how strong they are as a team. They have such high quality players, who can cause trouble for a rival at any moment.
“Even when they don’t perform as well as they’re capable of, Akwa United can win, so we’re hoping it’s not their day on Sunday and we earn the three points at stake.”
