Garbersports (“Garbersports”, “Visao International Group, LLC.”, “Company”, “we”, “our” or “us”) is an online sports media company. Our primary offerings are a online news journalism and a text content or video content management system (collectively, the technology “Platform”). Our products and services (the “Services”) enable the writers (“Publishers”) ability to embed video, write posts and readers to watch the videos, read the articles and see tailored advertising from across the web.
The Company primarily serves three groups: those who surf the web (“Users”), those who provide video and other types of content (“Publishers”) and those who advertise their products and services (“Advertisers”). In some cases, Advertisers place advertising messages via our products and services via third-party ad servers.
This privacy policy (“Policy”) explains how information is collected and used pursuant to offering our Platform and Services. Privacy Practices for our Technology Platform
We offer Publishers the Platform to writes sports journalistic posts, upload videos, manage their content on other social platform and gain insight into how Users watch video within our easy to use online dashboard. Our Platform tools collect certain non-personally identifiable information from User interactions with the videos Publishers upload via our Platform tools. This information includes: the User’s IP address, browser type, Internet Service Provider, computer (or mobile device’s) operating system. We also collect the URL of the page where our Platform tools are enabled, the referring URL, the type of content the Publisher is utilizing, when and how long the content was viewed, which advertising message(s) were inserted into the content, whether the content was viewed in full screen mode, and certain meta data about the content or the Publisher’s web page.
We use this information in a number of ways, including: a) to help us ensure that the web content is deploying accurately, b) to help us, our Publishers and our Advertisers understand how the web content and advertising we deploy is being viewed by Users, and c) to help ensure that the advertising and videos are both appropriate and relevant to User interests.
We use cookies in association with our Platform. Cookies are small files placed on the hard drive of your computer. We use cookies to help us understand how our Platform is being used, to tailor advertising, and for ad delivery and reporting purposes. However, we don’t use those technologies (e.g., Flash cookies) for advertising or analytics purposes.
Privacy Practices for our Website
Our website (the “Website”) is directed primarily to Publishers, Advertisers and Users. We collect personally identifiable information (e.g., full name, postal address, email, telephone number) via the Website only when you choose to provide it to us. For example, you may choose to provide your name, email address and credit card number when you order a magazine, subscribe to the Platform of the Garbersports. You may also setup an account with us, and while registering you may provide your name, email address and additional information. You may further provide your name, telephone number and other information in an email or via an online form in order to ask us a question or subscribe to our email newsletter.
