Chelsea have made a breakthrough in their pursuit of Brazilian Gabriel Barbosa, Arsenal and Tottenham are among the clubs chasing Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi, and Man Utd have registered an interest in a £28million-rated Lazio star, according to Wednesday’s transfer rumours.

ARSENAL

– Arsenal and Tottenham’s interest in Inter Milan star Mauro Icardi has been confirmed – but the player is also wanted by four other clubs (Calcio Mercato)
